Don't wait until kids are grown

When I used to travel before our boys were born, I heard over and over again - "Good thing you are doing this now - before your kids are born." Now that I have kids and am still traveling, I wonder where all that "advice" came from.

Traveling with kids is wonderful! You get to know your children in ways you never could at home and kids are the best travelers ever. They are capable of doing way more than most people think.

I guess my main tip here is to never doubt your child. Never, ever, doubt your child. Not even for one nanosecond.
