Add a contact number

Write a contact telephone number (hotel, friend's home, etc.) on your camera memory card or on your camera in case of loss.

Somebody honest may find it!

Make sure the person whose number you give is aware and agrees.

Good idea!
Someone else also suggested writing an email address that you'll check regularly, so the person who finds the card could send the pictures to you.
Also, perhaps store a text file of your contact details on the card.
