Isla Holbox

Isla Holbox is a tiny little island off the north shore of the Yucatan Peninsula. With no large resorts (and no cars and no ATM's), this island paradise is pretty much untouched, a secret getaway. The beach is extensive, long and wide with calm, clear waters. Must get to the west end of the island for spectacular sunsets and to the east for flamingos and bird watching. I heart Holbox!
