Lisbon Excursions

There are several Lisbon excursions you can make. I decided on making a half day tour to Sintra.

This trip took me to the Royal Palace of Sintra, but not Pena (which was a disappointment). BUT I found on their website they include Pena Palace on certain days. So if you want to see Pena Palace, check with them before you go!

You also make a stop at Cabo da Roca, which is the most Western point of Europe. I liked this spot! Then the tour takes you back to Lisbon going by Cascais and Estoril. Where you'll make a short photo-stop.

Personally I liked the tour, because I didn’t rent a car, this was a convenient way of getting to these places. But like I said before, not seeing Pena Palace was disappointing!

Luckily some friends of mine, just got back from a city trip to Lisbon and took some great pictures of Pena Palace!

Because my friends rented a car, they had the opportunity to visit some more sights in Sintra, for instance the Moorish Castle.
