I’m getting ready for vacation! This time it’s going to be a bit longer than Madrid 😉 This is my summer vacation and I’m going to the USA! Woohoo! I love the USA, so I’m very excited to go. I’ll be leaving Thursday 25th, flying into Baltimore (with a stopover in London Heathrow). On Saturday I’ll be going to Bethany Beach in Delaware. Where I’ll have a (hopefully) sunny and relaxing vacation! 🙂 At the end of my trip I’ll be meeting up with friends in Philadelphia and ending my trip back in Baltimore, to fly home from there.
If you’re traveling from Europe into the USA, you need a VALID passport (check 😉 And since January 2009 you also need to fill out a form called ESTA. This is an electronic system for screening passengers before they begin travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program. For more information on the requirements, click here. They encourage you to fill this out as soon as you’re making your plans of visiting the US, so I did it already a while ago. Approved ESTA form: check.
So, in order to be prepared for my trip, I’m gathering all my information: the hotel reservations, flight vouchers,… I already got an email of the first hotel I’m staying at with my reservation number. They also provided me with the weather forecast and information on what’s happening during my stay! Really looking forward to this trip!
Okay, that’s it for today, tomorrow I’ll probably copy all my important information and make an emergency sheet. That’s how I call a sheet that I put together with all the addresses and phone numbers I’ll need on my vacation.
