Binalong Bay Beach, north east Tasmania, Australia

At 42S, Tasmania is not what you’d think of a tropical paradise, but Binalong Bay, the start to the region of Bay of Fires is the most beautiful beach I’ve been on in a long time, why? It is like white sugar with turquoise waters and you would think you were in the tropics. It is quite amazing. So much so I took a bag of it back with me home because it was so beautiful. Now I have my piece of pretend Caribbean!

Since I cannot be their to have the white sugar sand between my toes, too……You have done the next best thing! Thank you for that!

Just to clarify

In case you’re not sure what ’42S’ is, as friends of mine pointed out, its 42 degrees S of latitude, sorry for confusion! L x
