The Chocolate Experience: Boon

By Isabelle Leave a Comment

The Chocolate Experience: Boon

When I come back from a trip, I always enjoy some Belgian chocolate from my favorite place near my home town. It`s a fun place to stop by anyway to see the chocolate workplace, where they make everything.

What makes this place special?

Well, the first thing that happens to you when you enter this place is the fragrance of chocolate embracing you. Then you are mesmerized by the many chocolates in the display and especially the chocolate shapes they make here, which are phenomenal!

Don`t miss the great quote, saying:
“So much chocolate, so little time!”

Reminds me of another quote that combines my two favorites, travel & chocolate: “Travel is like chocolate, there are different types for different tastes and you can never get enough.”

You can either decide to buy chocolates to try or you can have a seat in the coffee/tea lounge.

I would recommend having a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. You get chocolates and a mini chocolate mousse with it! Yummy!

And don`t forget to look through the window of the chocolate workshop to see how all of this is being made.

If you visit Hasselt, make sure you make a stop at this place for coffee/tea AND chocolate!
The Chocolate Experience: Boon is located at Paardsdemerstraat 13.

And if you`re in a different part of the world, check out the shops opened by students, there is one in Sydney: Boon Chocolates and one in Oregon, USA: Coastal Mist.

Enjoy!
