Walking around at the Christmas Market in Brussels

While walking through the streets of Brussels, the window displays of the shops draw you into the festive Holiday season.

Yes, even Manneken Pis gets a Holiday outfit, this is all chocolate!

My main reason to visit Brussels now, was because of the Christmas Market. You can find chalets (little boots) placed around the Stock Exchange, Place St-Catherine and Marché aux Poissons. (More info on the dates)

They sell unique gifts, but also a lot of food and drinks! To interrupt your shopping, you can go ice skating or take a ride on the Ferris wheel!

Every year they have a guest of honor. The country, being Morocco at this time, was represented in a big tent with music and dancers…made you feel like you were there 🙂

However the highlight for me was the light & music show at the Grand Place. It`s a light spectacle projected on the beautiful Town Hall of Brussels and changes every year.

    Love the Christmas markets! Saw them in Prague last year and am hooked! Wish I could take in Brussels this year…your photos are awesome!
