Lifestyle in Mieming

By Isabelle Leave a Comment

“Lifestyle in Mieming” sounds fancy I thought to myself. “Wonder what it means though?”

I got a taste of what that “Lifestyle” meant on my trip after the informative Travel Bloggers Conference in Innsbruck (To know more about the conference, you can read: reflecting on TBU). Mieming is only a 30 minutes’ drive from Innsbruck. On your way there you feel like you`ve entered a movie scene. You`re surrounded by these majestic mountains rising high and touching the sky.

E-biking

Definition = an electric bicycle which has a motor to power it or to help with pedaling.

That sounds promising. Didn`t really know what to expect, but it would be much easier to ride a bike. When I`m home, I do ride my bike, so when I started with this e-bike, I didn`t really notice any difference with a normal bike… hmh… strange… I saw my fellow bloggers having a blast. Apparently mine wasn`t working, so after I changed bikes I was off!
The region is perfect for this type of biking.

Hiking

You can`t come to Austria and not go hiking. But we did a special hike, a 5 am one! No, not because we were a bit crazy – well, some of us are – but to see sunrise in the mountains. Like the quote of Robb Sagendorph says:

Climb up on some hill at sunrise. Everybody needs perspective once in a while, and you’ll find it there.

It`s a magnificent moment when you have climbed a mountain and can see the sun waking up. Rays slowly emerging behind the top…

Special thanks goes out to Travel Bloggers Unite, Innsbruck Tourism and Tirol Tourism for inviting me and sponsoring this trip. All opinions, as always, are my own.
