Canals of Bruges

By Isabelle Leave a Comment

The canals of Bruges

The historic city center of Bruges is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO and because of its canals it`s sometimes referred to as the “Venice of the North”. Bruges can be a crowded place sometimes, but if you just wander around a bit you can still find some of the more quieter spots. Like this canal for example, I found outdoor our hotel. There are plenty of things to do in Bruges, like taking in the history of the city at Historium or making a stop at my favorite chocolate shop. But most of all try to take in the beauty of the canals of Bruges.
