Labadee is the privately owned island from Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. It`s not really an island, it`s a peninsula actually. But that doesn`t take away from the paradise feeling. It`s a destination that offers beautiful beaches, shopping and water activities. Lots of things to do in Labadee!
Here are some of my Labadee photos put together in a slideshow, so you can imagine how this place looks like. You`ll see the port, the beach, a playground,…
You can choose to just relax on one of the many beach chairs that are awaiting you. Or you can go for a little adventure and take a ride on the Dragon`s Breath Flight Line (The longest zip line in the world over water and one of my fellow passengers who did it, found it definitely worth it!). You can check out the Aqua Park and if you need more excitement you can rent a jet-ski or go parasailing …
Lunch is served on the island (or you can board the ship, that`s up to you). It`s a lovely BBQ and there are tables and chairs to enjoy.
After you`ve done all that, you can always go shopping! I told you, they thought of everything at this port. You have the choice of the Artisan`s Market and the Artisan`s Village, where you can find crafts and souvenirs from the locals.
There are lots of things to do in Labadee, and if you don`t think this is enough for you, you can always make an excursion. I went to Malfini Beach in the morning. I reserved this excursion without knowing there would be so much to see and do at the port of Labadee. If I had known, I probably wouldn`t have booked an excursion at this port of call, because there`s already so much for your entertainment going on here.
