Relaxing Vacation Spots: Top 5

By Isabelle Leave a Comment

Realxing Vacation Spot

What’s a relaxing vacation for you? For me, it’s being on a beautiful beach at a remote destination like Fiji or a Caribbean Island. Cocktail in one hand and a good read in the other. But not everybody sees the beach as a relaxing place. They’re might be some of you who prefer going for a walk in the mountains, experiencing the peace and quiet that Mother Nature has to offer or even go fishing! Which of the following relaxing vacations would you choose?

1. For total relaxation: going to a Spa

What better way to relax than a Spa? Choose a luxury hotel or resort with a Spa. Pamper yourself with Spa treatments like a massage to relieve you from your stress or jump into a hot tub and dream away… This is the perfect way to refresh your body, mind and spirit.

2. Off to the Beach

Listening to the soothing sounds of the waves, beautiful ocean views and gorgeous sunsets just gives you that ‘aw-this-is-heaven’ feeling. Sipping on a cocktail while reading a book and soaking up the sun, now that’s relaxing!

3. All-inclusive Vacation

Staying at a luxurious all-inclusive resort is something you won’t regret! It takes you to your own little paradise, away from daily routine and stress. The only decisions to make are ‘What am I going to wear today?’ ‘Where shall I eat?’ That’s your main concern! What a wonderful feeling. These days a lot of destinations offer All Inclusive resorts: Dominican Republic, Mexico…

4. Cruising

Why is a cruise so relaxing? Because for starters you only have to unpack once and you can still see different places. You can make a cruise as relaxing as you want it to be. Lying by the pool, getting a tan on the Sundeck, make an excursion to a beautiful beach, having a cocktail at the bar or going to the Spa onboard!

5. In touch with Nature

Maybe this isn’t something that pops into your head if you talk about a relaxing vacation spot, but spending a few days on the countryside can be equally relaxing to some of you than spending time in a spa or at a beach. Wandering through nature can take away the stress of the city, taking a hike in a National Park or just seeing nature’s beauty can refresh your soul and give you that inner peace you are looking for.

As you can see, there are different ways to change your pace and escape the stress we all experience in daily life. What are you waiting for? Book that vacation you have been longing for and arrive at your preferred destination to let the worries slip away. Enjoy and come back, totally refreshed!

Where other travelers go to relax…

A simple beach hut on a tropical beach in SE Asia

For relaxation I’d definitely opt for a remote beach, with just a couple of local cafes serving great food and simple beach huts with a small veranda …
